Paul Dolan Vineyards Pinot Noir
"This is far and away my favorite wine of the year." - Leta Soza, BottleNotes.com
2009 Chardonnay
Mendocino County
MADE WITH ORGANICALLY GROWN GRAPES
Aged Chardonnay vines watch over generations of salmon returning home to spawn in the gentle flow of the Ukiah Valley watershed. This elegant Mendocino County classic is a blend of bright fruit from the cool-sites of the northern Benchlands and lush warmer-site fruit from Hopland. Ripe pear, crisp apple, and winter citrus fruit character, complemented by creamy vanilla spice.
This wine is the unique expression of a carefully nurtured piece of land, made manifest in each bottle. We do without conventional pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, treating the soil as a living, lifegiving system. Our winegrowing practices create special wines, while sustaining our environment, the place where we live, and the people who live here.

"... hits way above it's price point, comparing favorably to low-to-no
oak wines at $30 a bottle. It's a structural and textural home run."

"An excellent example of a lightly oaked, New World Chardonnay. An excellent food wine."
