A Year In A Bottle
"Paul Dolan Pinot Noir 2007... This is far and away my favorite wine of the year because I associate it with so many amazing 2011 memories. It was my choice of wine for toasting my girls before Giants' games in San Francisco on playgrounds, my go-to wine after any trying day of the office, and my favorite bottle to gift. Did I mention it's great to geek out on when you're talking about the amazing production of Mendocino and the philosophy behind biodynamic winemaking? 2009 Paul Dolan Vineyards Chardonnay
"Golden straw color. The nose is crisp and fresh, offering up bright green apple and sharp citrus. It surprises on the palate, showing ripe spiced apple, vanilla and butter, all with a creamy texture. The creamy finish lingers for 25 seconds. An excellent example of a lightly oaked, New World Chardonnay. An excellent food wine that would complement a chicken Alfredo or sautéed white fish." Full Article
